If Saigon Districts could talk, what would they say? (Part 2)

After poking around on Facebook, I found this made-up conversation between the “districts” of Saigon. I thought it would be great to share this creative work with non-Vietnamese speakers so you can know more about the city and our sense of humor.

District 8: Don’t call my name!

One fact you should know is that District 8 (D8) and Binh Chanh District are very close to each other. Also, Binh Chanh District is a suburb of Ho Chi Minh City, so the bright city lights are low and it can be quite boring. Here is a translated version of the conversation:
D8: U proud to be independent, and yet you tell shippers that you are near me?
Binh Chanh: How else would I get my stuff shipped, Dog?
Shipper: Saying “I’m near D8” doesn’t make my trip shorter.
Viettel Post: You’re stupid @Shipper, tell him to get it into storage. (There is a huge Viettel warehouse in Dong Nai, very far from Binh Chanh District)
Binh Chanh: @Viettel Post you have life insurance yet?

District 9: Notice me!

D9: I have Suoi Tien, I have villas, The BCR, Buu Long temple, Long Island castle… I have everything and all you think I have are cows?
D10: But where are you? You’re supposed to be next to me and I don’t know where you are.
D1: Me too.
D3: Me three.
D5: Me four.
D7: Me five.
D8: Me six.
Hoc Mon: Same avatar! Hive five! <3
Short explanation: Hoc Mon District and District 9 are rural areas and people know of them because they have fields and cows.

Tan Binh District: Streets, streets, streets!

Streets in Saigon are in general, a mess. Long and traffic-clogged describes them best.
Tan Binh: “My life was a straight line, until I met you, Cong Hoa, a real pain in the … (Cong Hoa Street is the longest street in Tan Binh District.)
D4: “If your life gets messy, it’s because you can’t tell Vinh Khanh, Khanh Hoi and Vinh Hoi apart.” (These are 3 different streets in D4, which are easily confused with one another.)
Voldemort: I’d kill Potter if he was not hiding in Bau Cat. (There is Bau Cat 1 Street, Bau Cat 2 Street, … and Bau Cat 8 Street in Tan Binh District.)

Le Van Tam Park – Former Cemetery of Saigon’s Rich

What was once a cemetery for French soldiers and the elite, since 1983 has been recognized as Le Van Tam Park; the center of Ho Chi Minh City as we know it today. The city of Ho Chi Minh City had many cemeteries with hundreds of thousands of graves. Most of them were built at the end of the nineteenth century under French rule, when the scale of Saigon - Gia Dinh was very small. After that, the population quickly became so crowded that the authorities had to move the cemetery in order to "take land for construction of welfare facilities, [and to] keep environment clean". Among the cemeteries, one of the most famous, and perhaps the oldest is Mac Dinh Chi - now Le Van Tam Park. This area is bounded by 4 streets, being Dien Bien Phu - Hai Ba Trung - Vo Thi Sau and Phan Liem in the center of District 1. According to author Tim Doling (Ireland) - who has many studies, researching the history of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, Le Van Tam Park was originally a European ...
